(no subject)
Remember how I mentioned a couple of entries ago that I was sick? Well, most of it's gone away, aside from severe congestion and a nasty chest cough, but when I went to my voice lesson yesterday (not thinking I would get much accomplished - and lo and behold, I was right) my teacher said I sounded like I had a sinus infection, so go home early and see a doctor!
Anyway, I went to a doc-in-a-box (you know, PrimaCare, CareNow, etc) and apparently I have sinusitis and early bronchitis. WOO! The woman wrote me a prescription for some very large antibiotic pills which are blue and purple and, for some reason, say LUPIN LUPIN on them. As I'm sure you can imagine, I found this hilarious.
In other news, I think this week might be out to get me. I wasn't able to find my textbook so I don't have my paper written (meaning, I'm going to have to take the house apart when I get home so I can read the chapter, write the paper, and email it in this afternoon), I forgot my folder for today at home so I don't have any of my papers, and it's all rainy outside.
Boooo.
...And yet, somehow, I'm not in a bad mood. Hmm.
I've been working on a musebox, very creatively titled nakobox because I was too lazy to think of anything better. After looking at a few other people's museboxes, I feel like I have the fewest RP journals in a musebox of anyone on the internet or something, aahahaha. Oh well.
Time for class :D
edit: In cultural studies class now, and we've moved on to the 80s and 90s, discussing the AIDS epidemic and the more vocal gay rights movements of the 90s. We're going around in a circle talking about what our response was to the chapter in the book on it, and there's this one girl in my class that keeps saying really judgmental things - unintentionally - because she just doesn't know things or understand them when they're explained to her and aahhhh I'm scared of what idiotic thing she's going to say this time >
