SO WORK TODAY. Was awesome. First of all, five-hour shifts? Are amazing. ALSO. I spent the entirety of said shift counting drawer pulls in preparation for inventory. I got to sit on the comfy chair at the giftwrap table the whole time. WOO.
SO. For those of you who haven't heard about it yet -- I bruised a nerve ending in my elbow back on Hallowe'en (it was genius, too, I bashed it on a hook on the back of a door in a bathroom stall) and it's still not healed -- I've been in to two different doctors and apparently it can take "weeks or sometimes months" to heal. So far we're at two months and counting. Anyway. About two weeks after I injured it my elbow had stopped hurting and my fingers had stopped tingling, but my wrist was hurting (and still does; I've been wearing a wrist brace for the last month and a half and also dosing myself up on anywhere between 400 and 1200 mg of ibuprofen a day, depending on how bad it is). AND JOY OF JOYS, about three days ago my elbow started hurting again. Yaaaaaay.
THERE ARE BABY BEARS ON THE TV. It is seriously serioiusly distracting. IT'S CLIMBING A TREE THAT IS FREAKING ADORABLE. Be careful baby bear omg ;__;
...Now there are monkeys. lol monkeys.
On a totally unrelated note, Brawl is SO MUCH FUN RIGHT NOW yay for futuresprog omg. I am having a BLAST playing with my kidlings. Also it was just New People Time and we got a load of WICKED characters, so more excitement.
Ummmmmmm. What else guys.
Y'all help me remember to contact glockgal! I have to actually find one of the reference pictures I need to send her, but I have another commission from her that I kind of really need to contact her about.
Tonight, Mariah and I decided the following:
Renji's FUCK hat > pirate penguins > French fries > Loituma > pudding
Kitties go in there somewhere too.

I discovered last night that bravecows, who wrote the hilariously funny Reasons to Love Bleach: An Illustrated Guide (part one is here, part two is here; if you haven't read them yet, DO IT NOW YOU WILL DIE LAUGHING) also has read the Kushiel series, and adores them as much as I do for their purple prose and overwrought drama. I think I may need to reread them now; it's been a while since I picked any of them up and really, they're far too hysterical to leave alone for long.
Which reminds me: Libba Bray's The Sweet Far Thing is out, and I desperately need to get my hands on it. Mariah and I have decided that we are going to read it together, and wax poetic about Kartik's cheekbones forearms, sorry Mariah, or something.
...Mmmmmm my hands smell nice, yay for Bath & Body Works' Warm Vanilla Sugar. *__*
MORE FMA NOW PLEASE, PLEASE GOD? I NEED MORE FMA. LIKE REALLY REALLY BAD.
