(no subject)
one of these years, i'll have a smashing 4th of july and i'll look smashing in my dress (one that i got a few years when i was delusional/insistent on having a memorable 4th...) and i'll down icy, sweating cocktails against the heat of the slightly breezy chicago night. and i'll be with someone who's not gwc and/or my girlfriends, and we'll look up at the fireworks booming against the dark sky while sitting on the pier or the beach and i'll get choked up b/c i'll be thinking about how amazing, awesome, and joyful life is.
