I matched to an internship site!
I won't find out until Monday morning where I'm going, but all of the sites I ranked are in Texas, so I'm definitely sticking around. Hopefully it's the medical center in San Antonio... Other sites I ranked are the VA centers in Waco, Temple, and Austin - in any case, a huge weight is lifted off of my shoulders. A few of my really good friends in the program did NOT match and will have to compete for Clearinghouse sites on Monday morning, which absolutely sucks. I couldn't eat much at all yesterday and was up all night anticipating the sticky-dropping-stomach-hollowness feeling of disappointment... so now it's time for coffee!
