I was such a good patient, I get a puppy
Guess what I did yesterday! Got henna in my eye! You know what it says all over the box and the tube? DO NOT GET THIS IN YOUR EYE!
I couldn't get the paste out of the tube and when I finally did, it exploded all over my face. I was lucky it only got in my left eye. So I run out of the bathroom screetching "I GOT HENNA IN MY EYE! OH MY GOD! HELP ME!"
And let me tell you, it stung like a big painful bitch.
Hannah and my dad are running around the house trying to figure out what to do. Hannah pushes me back into the bathroom and helps me hold my eye open and flush it out. I was crying,screaming, and cursing everyone. At one point I told Hannah I want to sue Hot Topic (obviously that's where I got the henna). I kept on asking her if I was going to go blind. I think I gave her a panic attack (she started crying). I also started asking for my 'mommy'. Atleast I kept a sense of humor, yeah? I told Hannah that if I needed an eye patch I had my halloween costume figured out. Pirate Wench for me please! Actually I was terrified. Everything was blurry, then everything looked brown. I couldn't even keep my eye open myself. I couldn't stop shaking.
So my dad is running around the house, calling people, yelling at Hannah. After 15 mins of flushing my freaking eye in the sink, we get to the car and drive to DCMH. Hannah has two pairs of my shoes. I told her I was blind, not dead. So stop trying to steal my shoes already. I have a towel pressed to my face and my nose won't stop running. It was burning so badly. I was so scared.
OK, I'm getting tired and my eyesight is getting blurry again. Time to wrap this up for now.
I saw some doctors and was there for 4.5 hours, then I went to Wills Eye (another hospital) in the city. I was there for 3 hours or so. They had to scrape all the henna out of my eye. A layer of my something or another came off. That was bad. I have to wait a few days for it to GROW BACK! All the people that helped me were really really nice. But it looks like I lost a fist fight. My left eye is all puffy and I can't really open it at all. I have to put drops in it every hours. Needless to say, I got no sleep last night. Then I have more drops to put in 3 times a day, and even more drops to put in 2 times a day. And gooey crap that helps with the healing or something. So yeah, that's what I did yesterday.
