You're welcome.

Last time (June 2005) it was $150 - which (at the time) with a paid account ($25.00) and extra user pics ($10.00) would have paid for itself in about four years (that was my justification, being hooked on extra user pics *g*).

You mean with just 10 bucks I can get extra user pics for the rest of the LJ life??? WOW!!! Happy dance!!!
THe paid acc that I sign on is 20$ for the whole year, will expire next year I think.
Please nudge me if you happen to got the info about the permanent LJ, I will knock my head and Gibbs's slap my own head if I miss the opportunity.
I am going to save up!

Er, not the $10.00 (and that was two years ago) is per year; hence the reason why when added to the $25.00 per year for paid account, made the permanent account very worth while.

I shall indeed post again, as and when I have further news.

You can't probably guess whose already saving up and paranoid it will be the one day when she's not about and therefore she will miss the opportunity entirely? Or worse she is about nad misses out. Or the timezone thing works against her. Yes she's been thinking about this a great deal.

Just hoping I'm around for the next one. I think I was in Regent's Park one time wasn't I? Speaking to you on the phone? LOL. Hopefully, I shall be safely around to nab one of these accounts this time. And with the $ at an all time low it would be a good time to buy. Where do they announce it, do you know?

I thought of you when I saw this.

And yes, I do believe that is exactly where you were - it was two years ago in June, can you believe it?

And as you say with the $ being as it is, it would certainly be a grand idea. I image they'll announce it on news for a start. Actually a good Comm to join is the_lj_herald, as it tends to do a scan off all LJ Comms and then posts a summary of them.

As I said to Aingeal, above, I'll keep my eye out and post again as and when I have any further information.
