I TOLD YOU HE WAS WEIRD
It was midnight. Theo and Bobby were on their way home when they heard an earsplitting scream.
Theo took the corner without slowing. Suddenly they found themselves surrounded by steam. He slammed the brakes on and yelled, "Stay here!"
Bobby disobeyed. Barely able to see where they were going, they ran in the direction of the scream.
Suddenly a shambling figure appeared, carrying a scythe.
"It's that weird lawyer from Gibson and Partake," Bobby called.
"Drop your weapon," Theo yelled.
A second later both detectives fired.
Bobby turned the body over; he swallowed hard. "I told you he was weird."
