This week's six word drabble is a Sapphire & Steel/Buffy the Vampire Slayer crossover.
The character are Steel & Giles.
It's a continuation of a little series of stories I wrote for previous six word drabbles: S&S/BtVS stories
BUFFY'S ARMY
Army. Daughter. Formal. Prospect. Term. Tidy.
"I opposed Their terms." Even for Steel his tone was very formal.
"I know, " Giles said, and he did.
"They like things to be tidy. Letting you stay -" Steel fell silent.
"I know." Giles said again.
"Is the prospect of coming home to us so awful, Gallium?"
"Of course not. It's just . . ."
"You love her."
Giles nodded. "As a daughter, yes." He sighed.
"You always knew the day would come when you'd have to leave her."
Giles raised his glass. "To our army. That's what we'll be, is it not?"
Steel nodded and raised his glass. "To Buffy's army."
