With Season Four of NCIS almost up on us, I decided to look back at the other three seasons in respect of things that have irked.
NCIS is, in my opinion not only one of the best shows 'currently' being shown on television (certainly superior to anything Britain has to offer), but one of the best shows ever

I tend to ignore (as you know I can) the information presented in Hiatus as being distorted by Gibbs after a severe head trauma.
:-) I do so love the way you rationalise and think. It's wonderful.
Thank you for sharing the similarities between NCIS and QL - I've never seen the latter, so I had no idea.
The medal question is a tougher one. He wouldn't forget to wear them on the wrong side after-all so...did he have a head injury? ;-)
No, he didn't :-) I'm amazed, actually, that DMc didn't say something. He'd have know, him or MH or indeed DBP - he's ex-military! J says that he reckons props must have thrown the jacket at DMc at the last second and he just put it on, but it's another one of those little things (they probably don't think we'd check on the medals to see if they could possibly be Ducky's; I'm sure we weren't meant to think that they were!).
I have no idea why...
Nor had I. Or maybe they'd both banged their heads and forgotten their history!!!
DPB does just not seem to like the word continuity does he?
He certainly doesn't!
They really should have some sort of show 'bible' to help them keep things straight I believe that's what they used during the production of the Star Trek spinoff series.
Within an episode is pretty inexcusable.
I agree!
You'd think that with the ease of spreadsheets, and databases and other computer programs, someone would be responsible for that!
Very interesting about the marriage laws though, it's there to be researched if they want to.
I nearly slipped up at one point, as I hadn't remembered that there are two Washington's in the US. Washington and Washington DC. In the former, the divorce laws are much quicker. But even so...
It sounds good; it's poetic licence, I know. But...
Thank you for reading.

Hee thnak you it comes in handy.

That's seem the most reasonable explanation to me.

LOL. Yes I can imagine that.

You would. Surely they could afford someone.

Ah yes the two Washingtons confuses me. But yeah even if they were that quick to get through that many marriages in that amounit of time - crazy.
Thank you for reading.
It was fun.

It certainly does!

And of course at one stage, one woujldn't be able to check. Before videos and DVDs and the pause feature and zoom features and screen capping and on-line on-hand research, but now adays...

But then maybe it doesn't matter to some people like it matters to us :-(

And I just don't see it. I have a hard enough time believing that he'd try marriage all those times, but surely he's not the whirl-wind romance kind? At least not three times - another reason why him and Ducky have to go back further than ten years.
It was fun.
Thank you.

Nowadays we can take a look at everything and pick it apart like never before and it is such fun.
But then maybe it doesn't matter to some people like it matters to us :-(
Sadly I think you're right all that matters to them is to get the show out on time and on budget would be my guess.

I agree I don't see Gibbs as that kind of guy. Now DiNozzo, yes I could see that. But yes I find it hard to believe Gibbs and Ducky have known each other less that 15 or 20 years.

Indeed. We can even sit with timers and time things, when they say 'we have two minutes' :-)

I think you think correctly :-(

Indeed. And I'll stick to my little universe when they have indeed known one another for over two decades.

Hee it'll come as no surprise that I have done that on a number of occassions, it's such fun.

It is a shame.

Yay for the Nikki-verse! The Aingeal-verse likes your interpretation. :-)
