This is far, far, far more about TV shows per se than about any fannish involvement in TV.

Which TV shows did you start watching in 2017?
Inside The Factory with Gregg Wallace. It's an excellent series; educational, informative and really enjoyable and great fun. It's made all the more so because of Gregg being so enthusiastic about everything and willing to get stuck in.

Which TV shows did you let go of in 2017?
The Great British Bake-Off. Once it moved from BBC to Channel 4 and lost three our of four members of its team, we decided we had no interest in watching it any longer.

Which TV shows did you mean to get into but didn't in 2017? Why?
To be honest, nothing comes to mind. We meant to catch up with Doctor Who, NCIS & Grey's Anatomy but didn't. So I guess that kind of counts.

Which TV shows do you intend on checking out in 2018?
I have no idea of any new shows. However, we do plan to catch up with the most recent DVDs of NCIS & Grey's Anatomy.

Which TV show impressed you least in 2017?
That's a tough one, because if I don't like something I don't tend to go on watching it. I really wanted to enjoy Richard Osman's House of Games. But sadly after the first five minutes I had to give up. It just didn't hold my attention :-(

Which TV shows do you think you’ll never let go of no matter how crappy they get?
I guess NCIS, as I've stuck with it through 'thick and thin' even when I've complained bitterly about it week after week.

Which TV show impressed you most in 2017?
That has to be the above-mentioned Inside The Factory.

Your main fandom of the year?
In all honesty for the first time since I got into fandom I have to admit to having a non-fandom year. I haven't written a single word, I've only read my own Christmas stories, I haven't been involved in discussions and haven't done anything fannish at all. The only pairing I've really thought about at all is my 'secret' pairing :-) I do hope that 2018 will get me back into enjoying fandom & fannish things.

Your favourite film you watched?
Um. Er. It wasn't a new film, in fact it was a very old one *wry grin*, although it was new to me. However, I really enjoyed Miracle on 34th Street (the 1947 B&W version). It was a good old-fashioned feel good Christmas film what wasn't overly soppy or sentimental, but made me very happy.

Your favourite book read in 2017?
I honestly didn't have one. I didn't keep a record of books read last year so have nothing to look back on and quite honestly I find it hard to remember in what year I read which book, especially as I'm a big re-reader.

Your favourite album or song to listen to?
Again, I didn't have one. I have music on pretty much every day, be it my iPod or the radio and tend to listen to playlists rather than a single album or song.

Your favourite TV show of the year?
Pointless.

Your best new fandom discovery of the year?
N/A

Your biggest squee moment of the year?
How sad is it that I haven't really had one? Well not in the way I have in the past where I've been super-happy for days if not more over a single moment. The best I can get this time if in Pointless's 1,000th episode where Richard & Alexander swapped places for the show. It wasn't even all that good *g* Bless 'em, they each make their own roles look easy, but as they found out they really aren't - as they admitted *g*. Put it this way, it was great fun for one episode, but I wouldn't want them to do it again.

One of the funniest moments was when Richard told Alexander off for not paying attention to him; adding that he always pays full attention to whatever Xander is doing/saying (which is true).

The most missed of your old fandoms?
Not really applicable due to the fact I haven't really been fannish at all. However, when I was reading my fannish Christmas stories, I found I was more nostalgic about The Professionals than any of the others.

The fandom you haven't tried yet, but want to?
In all honesty nothing comes to mind. If I want to try something I'll do so. There are many shows my flist squee over and I've vaguely thought I might try but nothing appeals enough to make me actually try it.

Your biggest fan anticipations for the coming year?
Actually having some fannish involvement, I guess.
