For those who like me keep getting these darn notifications that someone logged in to your LiveJournal account from a new device or location

I'm not getting them - and I rarely clear my history, or log off, as I'm the only one who uses this laptop. So that may be it.

No one else uses my computers; both J and I always clear everything every day as it's much safer. It's just our ultra-paranoia *g*

Yes, I'm getting these emails all the time too! I thought it was because I had recently downloaded Chrome, but I always clear my history to stop the pc getting clogged up.

Now that is interesting at the person who commented above isn't getting them and doesn't clear her history. So I know that's only three people but it does seem to imply it has something to do with it.

I'm not getting them and don't clear history and cookies, so it could be related. I did have those notifications of not having a good password for a while, but that was apparently a glitch too and stopped again after a while.

It does seem to be adding up to that thing. That's four people two of whom clear history, etc. and get them, two you don't clear and don't get them.

Ah, yes, I believe everyone was getting those notifications!

I don't clear my history and I do get them! I'm in two RPGs and play several characters, so I switch LJs in order to play them and I get notices on all those characters, too! My hubby uses my computer, but he's never on LJ.

I tend to pop in and out of LJ if I'm here, rather than keep myself logged in, so my inbox is now filled with these unnecessary notifications.

I stay logged in for the day, but clear everything at the end of each day.
