I love how Tommy is so confident that Barbara can do this and that he tries to reassure her constantly, show her that he has faith in her. And in the end Barbara does it so well, she manages to fool everyone.

Barbara on the other hand understands how difficult this is for Tommy and that because she is his partner, he will stay at the Met... for now.
