(no subject)
Hey you guys...
so I was supposed to be induced today,,, which is the 5th..
but at 3:35 am yesterday morning(2/4/07) I started having contractions... they got worse so i went to the hospital at about 5 am., and I was already 3 cm.
So they hooked me up to an IV and did my vitals and all that. I got an epidural at about 7:30 or 8... and after that it was smooth sailing. I felt nothing. Couldnt even tell when I was having contractions!
I pushed 4 times and out she came at 11:15 am.
There is a lil bit of bad news though. Mia had a BM before she was born and had swallowed quite a bit of it. They used a tube to try and suction some of it out but it didnt work. She's now at a different hospital,,, Kosair Childrens Hospital. She's hooked up to a ventilator, and oxygen tubes,,, 2 sedation meds, and 1 blood pressure med
The probelm is that if the BM hardens in her lungs then she wont be able to breath at all and blow holes in her lungs.
So they have her sedated... and her eyes and ears covered. I only have 1 picture so far and her face is covered by one of the nurses hands...
Please pray for her,,,, I will keep everyone updates.
