It's been a good week for me entertainment wise, I've been waiting all year for two specific things and they both came out this week.
First was the Burn Notice TV movie; The Fall of Sam Axe. If you have been watching Burn Notice (and you should, it's fantastic!) you'll have been waiting for this like me. A special all about Sam Axe's final mission with the Navy. As I happen to love Bruce Campbell I was especially looking forward to seeing him be the star of the show, and he didn't dissapoint. Bruce's acting at it's finest. There were also two or three great references to his Evil Dead days which put a very big smile on my face.
Second and by no means least was Portal 2. Once again we are thrown back into Aperture Laboratories, this time given a sidekick of sorts, with a thick Bristolian accent. An A.I with a bristolian accent = win! The humour is on par with the first, gameplay is definately imersive and I had a great 8 hours on my first playthrough, I did see one of the major plot twist straight away, but it didn't give anything away to my enjoyment of the game. Altough I will point out some of the plot seemed oddly similar to a script I was writting two years ago. All I need to do now is find someone to play through the Co-op. That also made me happy, finally a PS3 game with muliplayer that you can actually play splitscreen!
