Jake, moving yet again
Under a cut because only two people have actually asked what I plan.
So Mark & Emma are moving over the hill. Couldn't have happened at a better time, I'm unemployed, owe the bank of "mum & dad" £600 and I'm getting over yet another train wreck of a relationship with a girl. Still I don't blame them, they've wanted this for a while and it's good that they are finally doing this and I hope it all goes well for them. (sincere here, I have to write it because people never believe me when I am being sincere)
So what am I going to do? Well... honestly not entirely sure here. I'm not that fond of Exeter but I don't have any job skills that can guarantee me a decent paying job anywhere else. My mum has made it extremely clear that she doesn't want me to come back and live with her and that's fine/understandable. So I have viewed the cheapest one bedroom apartment in Exeter that isn't a repeat of "house of death"* and it's a rather nice place, trouble is it's about £300 more a month than what I currently pay. The referencing for the apartment is also a bundle of laughs as they require proof that I can afford twice the rent, having just quit my job has been somewhat of an issue. I'm hoping that I can talk my dad into spotting me a month or twos rent whilst I look desperately for a paying job, but the outlook is plenty of arguments on that issue. He fully understands that I need to live in Exeter to get a job, but doesn't like the idea of having to pay £500 a month for me to do it (to be honest neither do I). 90% of my belongings have been packed and put back into storage.
My mum and another person has suggest I crawl back to The Imperial and beg for my job back. Neither of them seem to understand that if I work there, eventually sooner rather than later I will go crazy at the uselessness of much of the staff and either hurt someone or myself, most likely myself. I've just been told, The Imperial should have given me paperwork to hand in to my next employer but haven't, what a great company say it with me everybody! Skirmish have stopped calling since the fiasco with "Pete". So there's a very good chance I've been fired ¬_¬
I am looking for jobs, I need to leave a period of work until the 18th to help Martin out though, which limits me a bit. The trouble is though finding a job where I'm not going to have the repeat of Imperial, I need a job where I will be happy and that limits my choices even more. Game are advertising for sales assistants so I'll be dropping my updated CV there, but I can only hope, my hope nowadays is somewhat frayed.
Anyway looking on the bright side, everyone else seems to be doing well. Well done you.
