Remember my mystery trip to Yeovil? I was there to aquire a new bit of equipment, and it is my pleasure to reveal it.

Ladies and Gentlemen I give you

BISCUIT TWO!!

After my announcement of my need to replace Biscuit One, a purchase of Auto Trader revealed this Ex- AA Vaxhaull Brava twin cab 4x4 pickup. Not only was it in superb condition but the price was right also, and insurance wasn't to bad either. There's a few bits'n'bobs to fix/replace here and there, but other than that it's a fantastic truck. A 2.5 Turbo Diesel truck to be precise.

A side profile proves how long this beast of a truck is!

Rather Top Gear style this photo. Richard Hammond would be proud!

Plenty of storage space for both film equipment and LARP gear!

The two former tool/parts racks prove to be the exact right fit for a pair of powerisers each.
After buying the truck driving it home, I got a particular comment that I myself had thought on first seeing it. "It looks a bit like Ecto-1 from Ghostbusters!" I showed it to Stu, who like me, loved it and then I asked him wether he thought it reminded him of Ecto-1 at all, at which point he shout "YES! That's what it looks like, sort of but not if you know what I mean!" and that's when I told him my idea. A Ghostbusters Fan-film. Stu was onboard in a heartbeat. We're still fleshing out the plot, but at the moment it goes along the lines of "Ghostbusters franchise has spread globally and ghost are popping up everywhere, not just New York. One of Egon's colleages heads up the first Bristol based operation, with the aid of his son and his best friend (Jake and Edwardo)." The current title we've got is "Plasm 5" which is an extremely geeky reference to Ecto-1 (Ecto - Plasm) and the number 5 because we intend to have 5 Ghostbusters in the end. But as I said, we're still working out the basic plot, but we intend to be true to the originals, but add a few British quirks. We're going to end up putting some roof based equipment on the truck and plaster it in Ghostbuster logos and such, but we want to modify the actual ghost logo a bit to make it look more British, the first idea was to simply flip the sign round so that the "no" symbol was actually the right way around, but we want to change the ghost a bit too, not show how though

All that's left to say is.

biscuit two, fun, filming, new project, trucks, ghostbusters, powerizers, driving
