So I stayed an extra 2 hours after work tonight, socializing and getting in a "who-can-bag-up-the-most-promotional-booklet-things" competition. Needless to say I lost. Oh yes, if you are a student, over the next week or so, expect a vacum packed leaflet/booklet thing from JD Wetherspoons, we've just bagged up the student promotional offers due to the approaching freshers week.
Mr Pink I shall call you Thursday afternoon and sort out helping you move, sorry I'm taking so long, I have been trying to get a new tire for Biscuit One.
Had an interesting phone call from my dad the other day, The P6 is in for some minor repairs and then an MOT, one of the jobs was to replace the exhaust gaskets, my dad rings me to tell me that Ian removed the existing gaskets to reveal wear, meaning no seal, meaning no work properly, meaning expensive fix. Oh dear I think (in a more vulgar way) he then goes on to say "So I took the head gasket off, took it home, machined the grooves and it's alright now". Top man! I'm back down oke-way so I shall be chatting with him and hopefully sorting out a few things before he goes home again, it's odd how quickly I've adjusted to his home being in Dubai, not Little Thorndon Cross. I suspect I shall leave the Daytona with him, as he's done so much for me, it's only fair I let him have a play.
Hopefully tomorrow my student loan will have been sorted. I'm hoping that I'll get a £3664 one, or some such, so that I have enough for the tuition fees, and perhaps the extra £500 I can spend on a 3 day trailer course, as it would be used for my college course.
I think it's time for me to book myself in for another diabetes test, as recently my blood sugar problem has been going a bit haywire, it may just be because I'm exercising more, but it's something I need to check regularly, especially seeing how I lost weight at the end of last month.
At any rate, this months challenges shall be interesting to say the least, I hope I'm up to the test.
