Jake, knows how it's going down!

Yeah baby!

I don't know where that came from. Today has been a day of high's and lows. Overall day = good

1000hrs
I woke up and got Stu from my living room and into the van, for todays work to start.

1125hrs
Arrived at my mums place and began loading the van with Marku & Ena's old bed. At which point Stu dropped one of the pointer bits on my face. Ow

1135hrs
Arrived at my dads place and began modifing the set entrance door that we fitted last week, the door now closes to a satisfactory level and even has a handel for opening it. We then started to move on to the work required on the van. After measuring up the side and rear doors and marking unclearly on the old bed frame, we began chopping them up into bits that would fit. The bandsaw quickly (and I mean quickly!) zipped through the metal frames.

1300hrs
Broke for lunch. I had chicken and sweetcorn sandwich with mayo & ketchup. Stu had a Dairylee sandwich, Stu will do anything for Dairylee!

1335hrs
Began fitting the side barrier to the van. Broke many bits of wood. Got angry and threw broken bits of wood in various directions. Calmed down and fitted side barrier properly. Started fitting rear barriers. With the exception of one hole, it all went in very well. I then tried to get in some practice with the mini trailer, which must be broken as it only goes in one direction. This annoyed me greatly.

1625hrs
Packed everything away, went back to my mums, to pick up food.

1825hrs
Had Sunday Roast with Stu and my mum. It was nice, was supposed to be yesterday, but we didn't go over yesterday

2000hrs
Dropped Stu of at Exeter St' Davids train station so he could get home. Then went home myself

2032hrs
Stu rang, saying that we had missed the hand in deadline for the course we wanted to take this year, and that he couldn't get hold of Andrea, panic insued.

2042
Drank an entire big (juice sized) carton of Mars chocolate milk

2101hrs
Secured place for Jess to stay at Maelstrom! All hail the dibbs system!

All in all, we got a lot done today, the van is now pretty much ready for filming tests (I only have to attach the numberplate to the plateboard) and if I can get some A3 cardboard, I'll be doing some spraying to, logos are fun! Also, if I can nab Stu again this sunday/monday we should be able to get the new Tardis pillars cut, routed and painted and ready to go. I wish I could turn this into a paid job, I would like this as a job.

Oh and if everyone can post up their individual Maelstrom plans (travelling etc.) over the next few days, I'd apreciate it, as I need a good set of reminders. Also, you can generate a character on gates can't you?

c*cks, set, stuffe, vanasaurus rex, maelstrom, filming, surprise, people, today, college, work, doctor who, jess, stu
