oh barclay...

Walking back home tonight was very strange. I saw all the same people outside that I've seen outside the past few years. It's strange that I've lived in the same place for three years. And with some of the same neighbors, too. Unlike Santoro, Barclay really feels like home. This time tomorrow I'll be sleeping here for my last night. Everyone but Anthony and Mike will be gone. I'll move into JR for a bit and by the time I return from Winchester, my apartment will be gone. As ghetto as these places are, I have to admit I'll miss it. It's nice to be so close to everyone, to walk out your door, go a few feet and be at your best friend's place. Lauren and I will be so far away next year.
It's odd to think that 10 years after I graduate, there really won't be much about CNU that will be as it was during my time here. Classes in ghetto Ferguson in the days before it was a construction zone, stupid Jan Mar and Plaza, the old student center, library, the entire east side of campus. It's crazy.
Tomorrow night there should be a toast to the last night in Barclay. If you're in, let me know. :)
