So, really, I'm disappointed a bit. I was ready for the show, with the fireworks, smoke, earthquakes and such. Instead-- I had to help at work as we are moving into new offices, break my back carrying stuff around, sorting hundreds of CDs and sitting on my knees while assembling stuff at the new place. Our big boss was nice enough to invite us all to his place for some sort of breakfast long after breakfast hours (he invited even the guy from the phone company who was there all day configuring the whole network) and the food was good, with only fine stuff, but that still compensates only partially. Damn Mayans were drunk when they made that calendar. Or the world is just full of idiots who would rather come up and believe some idiotic superstition, than put their own brains in movement and, God forbid!, think.
Or maybe the end of the world is just starting to come, since they announced 19 degrees Celsius for Christmas in Germany.
(*This is the title of a Romanian movie about the Revolution in December 1989. It's a good movie, actually)
