Friday was holiday here, the day of the German reunification. So, apart from the celebration (which, unlike in other countries where any national holiday gets a very official allure, here they were more for civilians, with open air concerts, beer and all sorts of bratwurst, no military parades, no displays of national pride, nothing of that sort), everything was closed. So, yesterday, Saturday, everyone rushed to do their shoppings, be it groceries or other sort. And, for the first time for me in Germany, I saw the agglomeration and all them crowded places, the traffic jams and such that I could see in Bucharest, in a fairly normal day :P But even that chaos seemed a bit somewhat organized, no one losing their patience, or at least not showing it, no honking, no yells from one car to another, and such. But my training as a driver in the Bucharest mess paid off - I got a bit pushy and managed to get out of them traffic jams quicker, and didn't have to wait for hours to get out of that commercial park. We went to buy a comp. screen, cause Monday there's this guy coming to install a second comp. on the net here. The electronics shop (MediaMarkt, for those interested) was so crowded, it was like in that specific day, everyone in Saxony decided to come there and buy themselves a computer, a TV, a coffee machine, whatever.
Anyway, Gaby got as a present for her b-day, tickets to a Unheilig concert. Unheilig is one of her fav. bands, and even if it's not exactly my music, I went there too. The show was nice, the band played well, and even if it was a small venue and a lot of people came to see the show, it still didn't give me that bad sensation of being swallowed by a crowd and suffocated in it. And, of course, I took pics. We took Gaby's cam, cause it's smaller and easier to carry around and sneak in, and since I still am not completely familiarized with this cam, only very few pics came out right.
