for New York City - Emigrate vid.
Well, it's not a master-piece, but it's not shit either. It's very professionally done, and I like that. I don't like Richard's hair, he looks like a dork, and it's kinda difficult to enjoy the vid without feeling like bursting into laughter, while, in the same time, embarrassed. The Emigrate logo chair is cool, but when I see it, can't refrain of thinking how that middle line of the E gets into his ass as he sits there. He's riding a middle line of a giant E. Now, this is pervy :P
As for the whole idea - a guy goes to a illegal place for some sort of peep show. SF inspired. As for him with that girl - since he started appearing with that collar I really have that feeling that he's into the BDSM stuff. Or at least experimenting. And he likes to be dominated. Maybe that's the "shit" that Caron was talking about. I like the way he looks in that long coat, it really suits him. And the smoking. But with that hair, he looks like a dork or like an SS officer.
Anyway...
What surprises me ... yeah, for 7 years intensely on the net and still I am surprised... is the passion/anger some come with, neighboring insanity, in the case, about Emigrate. But I've seen it recently about other bands too, including NIN. It's good to witness it because I can say to myself - I'm not that insane. There are others worse than me. Man, I really don't get it, if you don't like something or someone, why don't you just get over it and find something else to enjoy? Why waste time, energy and nerves hating something/someone? Or do you really are that lifeless and small-souled that all the kicks for the day you can get are upsetting people that like that band? And, Jesus, how can a band or a person - rockstar can get one so upset, on the brink of insanity or something, as if they'd have killed the mother of that someone. Or similar. Man, get a life, a spouse, a job, a pet, something to torture when the bugs on your brain start buzzing and give the rest of the world a break.
