(no subject)
So it's been pretty much forever since I've updated this. Prolly since way before Beatriz and I broke up. So life has taken some twists and turns. Shortly following the break up I started working for AT&T aaaand as it turns out I was not even AT&T at all. It was just the product center. And they had their own policies about things. So they wanted me to work ten hour days with no breaks. So they senb me on a break (that supposedly didn't exhist) and then the next day fired me because I asked about the policy. So after getting fired on my 4th day for doing absolutely nothing wrong, I went and applied online for the apple store. About a weekater I got a call back for a phone interview, followed by two regular interviews and then o was offered the position!
So the following week I attended core training in manhattan Which was really awesome and I met some really awesome people as well as got to experience the city that I will be moving to in the next year. So just getting on the train and taking the subway was just an amazing experience for me to do all of that on my own...just felt awesome. I feel like i've grown up significantly in he past year and as much as I'm dealing with some difficult things in life right now, it feels good to be able to do so many things on my own.
So that takes me to now. Currently I'm number 1 in my store for productivity so the staff is loving me and they are all amazing people and all have alot to talk about and just generally make work fun. They have me working about 40hrs each week which I don't mind at all. So far I've paid pretty much everyone back that I've owed money too and this Friday I'll be able to finish that off as well as spend a bit on myself.
Also...there's a new girl. We started talking on my first day a work and she's pretty awesoeme. She came from Chicago but also lived in the south for a bit. And she just got an awesome job in new york doing tv and media management stuffs. And she's met Stephen colbert! She inturned with NBC during school and stuff so it's pretty awesome.
Anyways I'm pretty sure I've ramble on for quite a while since I've done bits and pieces of this post through the past few days on my iPhone. The lj app is pretty cool. But anyways! For anyone who reads this, more to come. Peace!
