"I wake up to find it's another Four aspirin morning, and I dive in
I put on the same clothes I wore yesterday.
When did society decide that we had to change And wash a tee shirt after every individual use:
If it's not dirty, I'm gonna wear it.
I take the stairs to the car
And there's fog on the windows.
I need caffeine in my blood stream,
I take caffeine in the blood stream.
I grip the wheel and all at once I realize:
My life has become a boring pop song
And everyone's singing along." <------- that is exactly what it seems that alot of people are doing with their lives. society trains us to love that boring pop song and sing along. don't. just stop yourself. remember this every time you feel in a rut. every time you feel like your doing the same things over and over. routines are what we're built on. its what we do. we have rituals. we are comfortable. and thats GOOD. but what i'm saying is to never let the rituals own you. somedays you need to turn left instead of right. you need to get hazelnut instead of french vanilla. sometimes you've gotta tweak something a little bit to let yourself know your still in charge. and from there you've gotta make your life. you only get out what you put in. its only as bad as you let it be. we have soo much control over our lives and yet we find ourselves constantly blaming others for whats wrong. well its only wrong and its only bad if we let it be. so, what i'm saying is...make your own life.
