Happy late birthday to my favourite Kanju! I may try to write Bun/Maashii celebratory fic by Maashii's birthday. Or not. I still have that Chinen/Yuuma crap to finish first.
So it turns out I might have PCOS. And that I might have to take estrogen, because no way in hell I am telling my mother about my gender issues, and also, diabetes (and MASSIVE BLOATING AND WEIGHT GAIN). DO NOT WANT. DDD: I don't know what to do! Most people never have bloating or massive weight gain (I think the bloating is related to what happens when you first go on testosterone?), but diabetes is a relatively serious risk. Ugh ugh ugh what do I do? DDDD: So ... I'm going to the doctor for a physical next week, and hopefully they'll get me a referral to an endocrinologist, and then hopefully I won't get a diagnosis or anything and I don't have to take estrogen. Hopefully. :/

Oh god I love this ending. SO. SO. MUCH. Riko taking the kanbu! Dude, I think that's the first time I've ever seen a serious jdrama present women as remotely equal to men, and a woman in a position of real power? And despite the Riko/Hikoichi and Haruna/Hikoichi storylines early on, neither was ever presented as a viable option; the only woman in whom Hikoichi was remotely interested (in a romantic sense) was the woman his own age. Or maybe even a little older. Congratulations, Japan! You made me hate you a little less.

Where did Nagisa disappear to in the second half of this drama? She was such a kick-ass character (despite constantly wearing high hells during chase scene, wtf) and they reduced her to practically nothing. D: And Sakaki. Seriously, what the hell. She didn't change the last five (ten, fifty) times Ryuuzaki told her she was a misguided, selfish, cantankerous parasite to human civilisation, so why did she suddently have such a drastic change of heart? UNREALISTIC. (On the other hand, everyone ignoring her at the end? A++ lulz.)
OH GOD WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE WORLD WHY IS CHIHARU BABYSITTING LITTLE KIDS DDD:

Akiko's like WHAT ARE YOU DOING and Shotaro's all DOUBLE, DOUBLE and then Akiko gets all excited like OOH OOH GOOD IDEA. Why so cute? ;____; And pffft, the part where she thought he was a father. She really doesn't think things through very far. &hearts
I REALLY REALLY LIKE THIS THEME SONG. One month until the single release! Man, I don't know if I can wait that long. D:

I finally started watching this again. WHY IS MARIGOMORI SO CUTE?! ;asd;lfks I liked a ton of the others before, but he's by far the most adorable. They're all pretty much like ... evil!Chiaki, lolol. Like little kindergarteners who piss themselves at the thought of someone slipping on a banana peel. &hearts I want kids like that. Especially Marigomori.
... I think I may have a bit of a Gedoushu fetish. DD:
