I knew it

I knew I wouldn't be able to resist the National Bookstore/Powerbooks sales. I ended up getting a lot of stuff, and my Mom was gracious enough to pay for around half. Actually sabi niya, sige lang, pero nahiya ako kasi ang dami talaga. I plan on going back tomorrow to buy Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World. Hindi siya on sale, but it's rare, and the normal price is just 369 or something. Parang nag sale na rin yung 500+ peso copy sa Fully Booked. Sana walang bumili.

Yey. So far I have,
The Consolations of Philosophy by Alain de Botton, and
The Little Book of Philosophy by Andre Comte-Sponville, as suggested by Dr. Leovino Garcia, Dean of the School of Humanities.

Haunted by Chuck Palahniuk (Because it's cheaper than Choke, and Invisible Monsters was out of stock)

The Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu for my Chinese Philosophy class. But, as an added bonus, the translater was none other than Aleister Crowley (?!!)

I also have a copy of the Philippine Constitutions from 1899-1987 and the United States constitution in one book, for my Ancient Western Philosophy class.

Good deals, good buys. I hope I have the time to read all this. :D
