I'm so glad you're exploring this fandom! I'm looking forward to lots of enjoyable things from you.

I haven't immersed myself in these two enough to give you a whole lot of concrit, but I did feel that the closeness came through - especially in how comfortable they are with showing each other affection, even (supposedly) jokingly.

And I could absolutely hear Billy here:
“Gonna jump me in the car now, are you?” Billy asked, his lilt heightening with his eyebrows.
Adorable. Loved that line.

Thanks! :)

The affection between Dom and Billy--and really, all of the main actors--is so amazing to watch. Genuine, frivolous, sometimes outright flirting camaraderie, and they’re so open about caring for one another.

The prank interview on Youtube solidified it for me: Dom reveals that he just totally punked Elijah, and the two think it’s the greatest thing in the world; they wish they were in the same city, Elijah is absolutely thrilled about the whole thing and tells Dom he loves him, and Dom sends “big kisses.”

Seriously? I can’t imagine a fandom that would make anyone happier. And happy that you'll be reading, too!

Speaking of reading... I got LOTR the book, so if you're still game for that read-along... :)

They are so much fun to watch with each other! I kind of held myself back when the films came out because I didn't want to burn out on it all. Unfortunately, it somehow happened anyway. The good part about that is that I now have lots of things to catch up on because I never watched them before (for example, a lot of the interviews that are on youtube).

It is a happy-making fandom. It's great when the text and the real-life aspect of a fandom are both interesting, slashy and fun. I feel that way about Smallville these days, as well.

Read-along: YES, PLEASE! Let me know when to begin! Yay!
By the way, have you visited theonering.net yet? They have lots of neat stories and pics from the production days. There is also a very active message board and regular discussions.
