After a Week of Working Retail...

1. You are conditioned to develop some form of OCD.
... wait the shirts aren't straightened and folded at exact right angles and the colors are out of order oh I'm bored let me straighten the already re-re-straightened shirts again for good measure...
2. You become fluent in all songs by Cher and Phil Collins.
... Was it my intention to learn every single lyric, backwards and forwards, to "Invisible Touch"? No. But when it's played over the intercom twice every half-hour and you work nine hours, do the math.
3. Customers are not always right, but they are awfully insistent that they are.
