Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted?
I think so. At least, I wrote more fics than drabbles this year. Plus there's #angstcircle who pushed (forced) me to write!
Did you take any writing risks this year?
Definitely! Starting lonely hearts club was a big risk for me because firstly, it's chaptered and i'm soooo bad at commitments lol. Secondly, I've been drafting the plot in my head for a long while before I finally decided to put it on paper (or rather, Word). And it turned out gloomier than I intended!
Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the New Year?
I really want to write a full taekai(+moonkwon) fic instead of a short one, hopefully for my friend's birthday soon. Also I hope I can speed up my writing process and not be too lazy lol
BEST AND WORST:
My best story of this year:
I personally like 오랜만이다 a lot. It's an AU that I built pretty much on the spot, along with the characters, and I'm really proud of the outcome. I tried to make it as simple and as real as possible to make it relatable since that's a genre that I'm into these days. The fic is nothing extravagant but I think that is its charm.
My most popular story of this year:
I'm not sure actually. like a sunflower and with love received quite a lot of attentions in aff (but still not that much).
Story of mine most under-appreciated by the universe, in my opinion:
Definitely 오랜만이다. Perhaps it's the ship. I wish there is more appreciation towards simple romance like this.
Most fun story to write:
I had fun writing this could be the start (of something new). It's kind of inspired by a book I just finished at that time. Both characters were fun to build up as well, quirky and slightly nerdy Hyejeong especially and smooth talker JB of course.
Story that shifted my own perceptions of the characters:
Probably with love? Baekhyun is not my favourite EXO member and he has that bright, outgoing character, but here I experimented by writing him as reclusive and quiet. I ended up liking him more, thinking "ah, maybe he has this side too in reality".
Story with the single sexiest moment:
the one and only pavane for a dead princess
Hardest story to write:
I didn't post it anywhere (only converted it to PDF) but my gift for a friend's birthday, galaxy in your eyes was very hard. Writing it took months and I ended up finishing so much later than I planned.
Biggest disappointment:
I wish I could've written the babysitters club better :(
Biggest surprise:
Like I mentioned, lonely hearts club turned out sadder than I intended. It's also a surprise that I haven't abandoned it yet lmao
Most unintentionally telling story:
treasured things was never in my list of fics or ships to write. It happened in the spur of the moment, right after a friend told me she missed the ship. I was putting an end to some things in my life then, and I dedicated this fic to that.
WIP TEASERS:

Sunggyu never mentioned that he needed a housemate, nor did the thought of having one ever crossed his mind. But when Myungsoo showed up in front of his door carrying a worn out duffel bag and a guitar case, he figured maybe it wouldn’t hurt to have someone around.
