The home stretch
I've already taken one final. Here's what I have left:
- Growth & Decline of Cities and Suburbs Final, Tomorrow at 2:50
- History of Race Final, Thursday, December 16th at 1pm
- Inquiry in the Humanities and Social Sciences Final, online
- Inquiry in the Humanities and Social Science Interview and Paper, due Friday
- Case Study on a Student for my Literacy class, due Wednesday, December 15th
So that's not too bad. The papers shouldn't be bad. As soon as I get my interview that won't take me long; it only has to be about 5 pages. Then the Case Study is pretty much done. I have all my data and stuff on the child. I just really have to put it all into one paper.
As for the finals, one's already done. The one I have tomorrow shouldn't be too bad. Besides, I'm kicking Ben's ass in that class anyway so that's the main thing. I'll do some reviewing tonight. The History of Race final won't be bad because he gave us pretty much the questions already, so I can prepare for that and I know exactly what to study. And the online one won't be bad either because I have all the questions for that, too. I love it when you can prepare for the exact questions.
Other than that all I have to do is go to the Trotter School one more time tomorrow. Then on Thursday I have to interview a student. That's it. Plus Christmas shopping but I'm not really worried about that, either.
So unlike many of you, I am not all that stressed about finals. I know pretty much exactly what I'm answering, except for the one tomorrow, and by 4pm tomorrow it will be over and I won't have to worry about it anymore. And then I'm done until July (besides Middler Writing, but I'm not counting that).
Basically I'm just sitting here bored out of my mind because I'm not really pressed to do anything. I'm even thinking about not going to class this afternoon...I feel bad and I know the stuff's important. But it's so crappy out I don't really feel like treking all the way to Chinatown. Besides we're meeting on Thursday anyway to go over the Case Study. And I haven't missed one class yet. So I think I deserve it. Well I'll see how I feel come 3:00.
