Last night was the best ever. I'm still excited from going to that game.
So here's how it happened. Ryan and I were going to have a nice dinner. After that I was going to come home and do homework and clean and sleep. I got all ready to go out somewhere and went to his apartment. Ryan's mom and sister had tickets to the game. So we went with his dad and walked them to Fenway. They went inside and we were leaving. There was this guy selling tickets, so Ryan and his dad went back to see how much. I just stayed where I was and waited for them to keep walking. Then all of a sudden Ryan started waving to me and the next thing I know we're inside Yawkey Way. Of course we weren't prepared to go to a game, so we didn't have anything Red Sox on. Well obviously we had to buy something, so we got shirts.
Awesome awesome game. Yankees suck.
The Kingston Trio sang the national anthem at the beginning. And then get this: they sang Charlie on the MTA. I love that song! I'm amazed at how many people know that song. So many people sung along. It was the best.
The only thing that could have made it better was if Jason Varitek had hit a ball right to me. Oh and if I had gotten free Fenway Franks and a beer.
So now I have nothing done that I was going to do. And I'm almost $100 down. But man was it worth it. What a night.
Who would have thought that I'd ever be able to go to a Red Sox - Yankees game, nevermind game four of the postseason!!!
