4:18 a.m.
Into the calmest wisp of night
I ponder in quiet repose
As the world prepares to spin another chapter
Moment of clarity reached
As the breeze gently lifts and twirls the leaves
A premonition of Autumn after
Just as one reclines into comfort
The phase has come and soon to pass
A memory’s resonance does fade
Yet does linger carefree laughter
Ah, how the world does sway
And I am but a wisp
This moment here, is passed now
Into that portent’s chapter
