Obama for president, please!
I can't believe, after listening to Obama give his uniting, hope-filled concession speech, that anyone would want Hillary over him. I wanted to jump to my feet and cheer for having a politician I believed in for the first time in memory and it wasn't even a motivating vote-for-me speech.
My mind just boggles. Clinton is everything I cynically believe to be true about politics, I don't get why anyone would want more of the same in either party.
Anyway, I finally put my money where my mouth is and did something I've never done before: I've never given money to a politician, but I feel that strongly about Barack Obama's campaign. Hallelujah for feeling anything in regards to a presidential election. (And no, I haven't bought Spark Plug an Obama onesie.) The kid gets out of the womb first before I gear him up. Besides, he oddly enough already has a political onesie, thanks to my Uncle Jim and his wife Bea.)
