I'm excited and ecstatic!
Today has been the first day I've been able to sit up for more than an hour without being tired, which means I get to return to my job tomorrow. The thing about pnuemonia is that everything else feels peachy. Your brain is fine, no sniffles or fever, but that whole breathing gig is heinous. So you lay on the couch under a blanket wishing you could gouge out the eyes of people who put nothing on TV during the day. And I'm almost positive when I'm a stay-at-home mom/college student I'll not feel differently about "Wedding Stories" and "Baby Stories," but at least then I'll be toddler-chasing or studying. I walked to the mailbox and back today with Buddy-Blue and I felt wobbly but it beats how I felt on Sunday, so I'm ready to return to work with the added bonus of not feeling contagious. Woo! Wooooo! I have a follow-up x-ray on Monday but I think I'll be totally healthy by then with only a couple of more days on the meds.
Other than that, I'm good. Spensaur was a kickin' nurse. We should find out in a few days re: the status of his camera, so everyone pray really hard. If we're ever not to be poor, it'll be through having a good HD camera. That said, I'm ready to nap again.
And Suj, Ryan, Mark? I feel utterly robbed of my chance to wrap myself in tinfoil and go to Chipotle for free, delicious, chicken soft tacos.
