Hummingbirds sound *awful*.
For the past few days I've been wondering what kind of weird birds were outside of my window by the noises they were making. And this morning as I logged on to my computer, I looked behind me out one of my windows and there was a really irritated hummingbird making these awful wannabe chirping noises, ticked off b/c the chain holding up my swamp cooler has no nectar in it.
The bird is still there, still mad about the lack of nectar in the links. Hummingbirds are really dumb, too, apparently.
I feel less like death. But I am outraged that I missed a big social gathering last night. Angst, horror, etc.
