The long awaited migration started with depressing news, but we will not talk about it. Suffice to say the next three years don't look as bright as it did before, and I am saddened by this.
Am currently experiencing free wi-fi in the airport lounge in Hearthrow airport. Will be boarding the plane to Dublin in about half an hour. I wish I could go out and smell the air or something, or see things other than, well, other than the airport I guess, but alas, not this time.
However, I'm sending you the taste of British air to you through our latent telepathic link
06seconds_left as promised. Are you receiving it??
The flight from Malaysia to London was quite tiring. I'm five four and I felt cramped in my seat. I can't imagine how the six foot twos were feeling. I finally managed to fall asleep somewhere over India, but was startled awake by a very loud sneeze. After that, my neighbouring passenger's allergies kept me awake for most of the flight. Flying above the clouds, the stars looked exceptionally large and bright. Oh, and the sunrise was so beautiful! I caught some pictures of it using my phone. Will upload later. ^^ Never has a sunrise last so long for me before.
Now my body is tired but it's not sure if it's because it didn't get enough sleep last night (those sneezes near gave me a heart attack) or if it's because it's almost sundown. Logically, it's both of course, but it's still a confusing feeling. My watch is still set to Malaysian time.
I'm really looking forward to the train ride from Dublin to Galway. Hoping against hope that my phone batteries will last long enough for me to take pictures (and call the Mr. Landlord once I arrive cause I don't know the address of the place even. >.< and of course, also to call home) My camera ate the double A batteries I brought with me for supper last night probably, cause they're dead now.
So, culture shock! The tap water in the washrooms are heated! (Dea the jakun XD) It's too hot for me though. My face especially is heat intolerant. This might be a problem. Will need getting used to.
Also, I am short. =(
P/S: Thanks so much
