I go to work today, work a 9 hour shift. Kinda tiring, not gonna lie, and its me and the other supervisor who worked a full shift, Charlie. We decide after grabbing some grub, we're gonna go to 1800 club and get a pitcher of beer. We go in, and Charlie, who is a month away from being 21, gets his fake turned down because it's expired. So we go to BAT 17, this Martini bar a few blocks away.
We both get a beer, for about 3 bucks each. And this drunkass Louisana State Trooper who is 47 starts chatting us up. Next thing I know, he's covering our tab, which ends up being at least $50 EACH, and he's just slinging the shit with us. It was pretty much ridiculous, this guy was a character. I shit you not, he says "hell, three months into dating my wife she was sucking my dick and I realized that I would spend the rest of my life with her". AMAZING! This guy was NUTS.
AND
he complimented me on my drinking. Which isn't necessarily that positive for some people, but I had a beer, a grey gooses martini, a jack daniel's select on the rocks, 2 double shots of jagger, and a jonnie walker scotch on the rocks. All on his dime of course.
We may end up going to a white sox game with this guy on Wendesday. Man, say what you will abbout the dude, he lives life to its fullest. Kinda refreshing, really.
