I just had a lovely conversation with my mother that mainly consisted of me yelling and screaming and trying not to lose all of my composure. I know I lost most of it, but I didn't actually let the tears fall, so I didn't lose all of it. It was about moving. I couldn't seem to get across to her that I won't. You know there are two things in life if you ask me. Chaos and Normality. And every second of life is one of those. Chaos one second and Normality the next second. It's a good balance. But sometimes in life one out balances the other. And this causes I say one main effect. Inevitability. Too much chaos in your life will eventually end in long periods of normality. And visa versa. Just when you think everything is normal something goes wrong. But that's life. You get used to it in the end. It's just knowing when things are changing that makes it easier to deal with. But that isn't always the case and sometime things are out of your control.
As someone said to me once, you can control yourself completely but you can't control others, and it is the other that you have to watch and understand that will get you through situations with a better understanding than someone who doesn't take any notice of anyone else but themselves.
As for the growing up thing and becoming an adult, well if you were to ask me , being an adult is overated and becoming one, dealing with the issues of being an adult and the things that are layed upon you, isn't all that fun. Which is why sometimes giving adults a break isn't such a bad idea. Not endorsing your mothers idea to move but sometimes we adults make decisions we think are the best, but sometimes we don't always think it through thoroughly. Which can make us look like we are acting on impulse or childish.
Probably doesn't count for you though. But I thought why not say it.
Good Luck with it all though. And remember this chaotic period will end with normality and hopefully balance everything out. Balance in life is good.
