I just joined
book_swapping and while posting this list thought it would be a good idea to x-post here. Also, over the next few days I'll be going thru my house to do some summer cleaning. Anything good I find, I'll be sure to post to see if anyone would like it. I tend to buy things and then never use them. :DAs of today (June 5th, 2007), this is my list.

I was disappointed with Darcy's Story as well. It lacked details and felt really rushed. If you's like to read a story that from his POV, I'd highly suggest Pamela Aidan's Fitzwilliam Darcy, Gentleman: A Novel in Three Parts. There are three books that make up the story. It's well written, has great original characters and is really an entertaining read. Form what I remember Excessively Diverted was ok, but kind of read like a fanfic. There were times that the characters seemed OOC and the writing style was something to get used to. It's ok for a one time read. I wasn't able to get thru Mr. Darcy Takes a Wife and I tried to many times. I don't know what it was, but it just didn't work for me. AS for The Third Sister, yes it's a sequel to Sense and Sensibility, but for the life of me can not remember if I liked it or not. It's been a long time since I read the book and just happened to find it the other day in a random box, lol.
Again, let me know if you'd like any and I'd be happy to ship them out tomorrow as I'm going to the post office in the afternoon. :)

I will stake out for the other sequels here (though I'll probably bail on Mr. Darcy takes a wife). I just hate it that book shops here have such a tiny collection of English novels *sigh*.
Thanks a lot for your response and offer!
