Spring Break then back to school and snow

On Sunday evening, we got home from Spring Break - a full two weeks in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. It was absolutely wonderful there. It was our second year - last year it was just for one week though - and we still love it. It didn't rain there once, and it was fabulous to be free of the snow for a while (when we left we still had about 3 feet in our yard). We rented a house in San Miguel that is about 3 1/2 blocks from the main square (El Jardin), and we walked everywhere - ah, the joy and wonderfulness of being able to walk to mass! Our house was beautiful with tons of flowers and a roof/sala that was part sunny part shady in the daytime and very pleasant at night - Emily and I ended up sleeping on the two couches up there for the second week, which was wonderful other than the bugs - I still am plagued by itchy bites. On monday morning, when we were driving to school it snowed. Great welcome home, eh? Ah well, it was basically what we were all expecting, and there is less snow now than I would have thought, which is nice. We'll have a semi-snowless Easter...
