Iraq update
Hubby will NOT be leaving on Jan. 5. Probably sometime in the spring instead. This means we can get through Christmas without it looming over us. And in the spring my mom can come and help out. So, still not great, but BETTER.
Thing 1 got a 3.25 on his first semester grades. YAY, the scholarship is still alive through the next sememster, at least. If you haven't listened to his song I posted in my other journal, please do, and tell me if you think it's something he might try to market to an agent (he wrote it, performed it, and mixed it). I think it's got a lot of potential, but I'm his mom so I'm not objective.
Hubby gave me an early Christmas present. It's an ergononic keyboard. It has LETTERS on it! RADICAL! (My old one had all the letters rubbed off. But this one's drunk. The keyboard is all curvy and the N is WIDE and the B is a little less wide and so are the g and the h and I keep making typos everywhere. Will I ever get used to this?
And will you guys ever get used to me being two journal-people? Or is it too distracting? I like it; you're the ones I trust not to get mad at me if I say the leaves are falling because you think I have something against falling leaves. My other journal is nutty. I ♥ y'all!
