Okay, I guess I'll crumble and post a bit of an update.
Work ended at the end beginning of May, so running on savings at the moment. Still, I'll be able to survive for a few months. Still not quite sure what it is I'm going to be doing. I plan on leaving Manchester at the end of July, and so far I'm planning on going to London and getting a job down there, and probably return to Canada in January 2010.
Went to Dublin with Jayne & Brett the other week. Really fun, stayed at a funky little hostel, met some interesting people, bought some of the most expensive beer I've ever seen, etc. That city is so overpriced, jeez. Still, it was worth seeing. Another location to check off my "must see" list.
This last weekend was Download Festival. Weeeee so much fun. So many amazing bands. Everyone from Marilyn Manson & Slipknot, to Journey & Whitesnake. Fun times, 3 days of rock n'roll and camping in a field.

Relaxing today though and recovering a bit. Watching the pomp and ceremony of The Royal Ascot. Interesting little show. Basically the Queen and all the posh upper class dress up in silly hats, top hat & tails, etc. and watch horse races. The hight of snobby brit fashion & culture. Interesting to see though.
