Naia was sitting on her bed, hugging her pillow and leaning against the headboard. "So girls," she said, speaking both to Pearline and Lia. "What shall we do tonight?" It was a Friday night in the dorm, just after the holidays, and Naia was a wee bit bored of just sitting around, and even more bored of homework

Well there could be worse things to do on a Friday night then spend time with her roommates. Over the years, Pearline had learned to tolerate and yes, even like Naia and Lia, despite their blood status. They were good to get information from.

“Well, we could talk about what we did over the Holidays? What we did, and what type of presents we got.” Pearline offered as she snuggled into her soft robe and fuzzy slippers.

"As long as it doesn't involve going anywhere near outside, I'm game," Lia said, tugging the blanket loose from her bed. She wrapped it loosely around her shoulders. "Especially if it involves tea and biscuits."

She smiled and flopped stomach-down on the bed. "I wouldn't mind talking about the holidays," she said. "As long as I can stay in here where it's nice and warm."

Naia grinned and then set to work with heating her tea-fire and boiling the water. "Glad you feel the same as I do, loves," she said. Naia and Lia had bonded right off, and it had taken longer for Pearline to come around, but this was a pretty happy dormitory.

"Did I tell you about the prank we pulled at Christmas?" Naia asked, mostly directed at Pearline. Lia had heard. Mostly because she had been grounded.

“Indeed you did not,” Pearline replied as she stroked the head of her kitten that her older brother had given her for Christmas. Pranks? That took her back to her younger days when she and Adrian would terrorize his nanny, but things had changed since then, and her parents had expected her to grow up and become a lady. “So tell me about this prank, and do tell me where you got your adorable little kitten…” Well at least her Hera would have a playmate.

Lia sighed and shook her head, trying not to smile. Oh, the prank. Okay, she had to admit it was funny, but it wasn't really the best idea. Anything that ended in grounding wasn't, really, but Lia couldn't even imagine trying to pull something like that off.

Although, considering Naia's cousins, she really hadn't been surprised.

Naia petted Rhiow, who had just hopped up on her bed. "This is Rhiow, by the way. I'm sorry I didn't introduce you to her sooner. Amorisa gave her to me, she's so sweet." Naia grinned, petting Rhiow.

"Anyway, the prank. Max has a mind for these things and always manages to convince Colin and I to have a Christmas prank. This year, we stole Santa Clauses and had them carol door to door." She laughed. "The best part was when the muggles would open the door and just... gape! And then they would come out, and look for strings and a boom box."

Mmmm so the kitten was from Adrian’s girlfriend? How many of those bloody things did she have to give out anyway? Still it was a cute little cat. “Rhiow is it? Well this is my kitten, Mystic,” Pearline said proud as she held up the black and white fluffball. “My older brother Gerard gave her to me.”

Pearline smirked as Naia told them about her prank. Using magic in front of muggles? Now that was quite impressive. She didn’t know that Naia had it in her. “And you got grounded for it you say? What a pity. It sounds like it was a fabulous prank.”

Lia, however, did not have a kitten to show off, although they were very adorable.

She laughed despite herself. "I don't remember, did you do that in your neighborhood?" she asked. She smirked. "Because it would be hilarious if you found some celebrities while you were at it."

Naia laughed. "You mean like my neighbor Hugh Grant?" She shook her head. "I see him in Sainsburys all the time, but we have never quite figured out where his house is, you know?" She shrugged.

"Yeah, I think my mum really approved of our pranking, but she had to keep up appearances. It was only like two days." Naia moved back to check on her tea. It was piping hot and it was time to add teabags -- one for each of their cups and "one for the pot." The only bad thing about dorm tea is that hey couldnt' have milk. "Five minutes, and then tea." she said, giving it time to seap.

Pearline observed Lia,

"We need to get you in the market for a cat dear. That way all three of us can have kittens." She turned to Naia, who was this Hugh Grant person they were talking about? Probably some Muggle person.

"Mmmm Tea, is there anything more delcious?"
