So, I finished the Weeble Wobble cowl, with a week to spare! This cowl was ok... There was a cast on of 360 + stitches, and 45 rows of straight stockinette... At least it was a good insomnia cure! It was definitely a different approach than I'm used to! But, then, all of these cowls have had their own unique twist. The next pattern comes out on Thursday, so I've been filling my time with other purple things!
Like this bracelet! I bought a bracelet kit many years ago, and it just sat around. While I was working on straightening up the guest room a bit this weekend, I found it. So, rather than doing something productive, I made this bracelet :) It was very quick. Much more satisfying than all the stockinette ever. (Two of the three projects I had on the needles after the cowl were straight stockinette. The third is the Maiglockchen, which is progressing oh-so-slowly.)
Other than that... there is not much to talk about. Eric's been out on business trips, and work has been eating my life. Maybe the simple knitting is good, since it doesn't take too much concentration. I should maybe take pictures of it, though. Although miles of stockinette are not that interesting... Oh well! Soon I'll be working with some Malabrigo Rios! That'll be worth looking at!
