The last quiet weekend...
So many things happened this weekend! Bands playing! High teas! Gaslight Days! Clockwork Balls! Faerie Picnics in the Park! Spring Daze craft fairs!
And I was still too sick to attend anything :( :( :( Eric's caught it, too, and he took Friday off without a voice. We were a couple of boring sickies together. He finished watching FLCL, and Black Butler (what a combination!), and finished the single player Portal 2 game. (Annie = GLaDOS. That's pretty scary!) He and Chuck started the two player game, and it is just as entertaining! (I think M&V could pull off an awesome Cave & Caroline cosplay!)
I should've been working on foodstuffs, but I was still too sick. Don't want to spread the contagion. So, instead I worked on my Maylene dress. Look! It almost looks like a dress! I was too foggy to do the difficult parts -- sleeves and zipper -- but I finished the bodice and the skirt! I'm using three different patterns to put this together, so I'm still pretty pleased with my progress :) The wig has shipped, too!
So, it was a pretty quiet weekend. I guess that's ok, since May is going to be as bustling as ever! Only three more weekends until AZ, and they're pretty packed! I don't even know what I'll be wearing on Saturday, yet! I hope I'm ready!
