I was just thinking that I didn't have anything to share today. Last night was pretty tame. Knitting and Doctor Who (getting close to the end of the Fifth Doctor.).
But I did finish the seventh chart in the Endles Pegasus shawl. I started it just about two years ago, and I'm just now 45% finished. I guess it would go faster if I actually dedicated time to it rather than putting it to the side every time something new and shiny shows up (speaking of shiny,
there's a new Twist Collective today!). I think that representational shawls are just not for me. I can do a repeating pattern with no problems, but this kind of thing, where every row is different, and I have to learn new stitches to make the textures... it's just taking forever. Still! Look! Pegasus nose! It's exciting, because I didn't see it until I'd stretched out the shawl.
Of course, my fair shawl for this year (which I haven't even started yet, and Nicky is almost done with hers!) is another non-repeating shawl, but this time circular (starts out quick, but the final rows take FOREVER.). Apparently, I'm just masochistic.
Ugh! I don't like Flickr's new navigation right above the image. In IE (which I am required to use at work), it doesn't show the options until you move the mouse. Very confusing.
Where is the list of awesome April Fool pages? They expect me to work too much to go searching myself this year :P
