Weeeeekend.

The *important* thing that happened this weekend is that I *finally* finished the neverending baby blanket of DOOOOOOOM! It is, in fact, finished, washed, not-blocked (I liked how it looked and draped out of the washer & dryer. And, let's face it, that's how it will be handled by the new parents.), wrapped, and ready to give as soon as I see Nick-at-work today. Yay!

In celebration, I started a stole kit that I bought at SAFF last year. This is the first SAFF yarn I've had a chance to use! I am so behind. I should not buy anything this year, even if I do go.

But the kit! It is from Just Our Yarns, and it's the Lily Stole (Ravelry Link). The pictures do not do it justice *at all*! I love it sooo much! I've finished the first two repeats, then managed to completely mess up the third repeat, and will be spending my lunch break tinking two to four rows. Ah well! 30 repeats to go! If I finish a repeat a day, I can get it finished in a month! (well, minus the edging!) This is slated to be my State Fair project for this year, although I also have a pair of socks that I have hopes for. Hooray for having knitting that I love on the needles again!

Other than that, we managed to hang out with friends, help with yet another move (After helping three people move in the past month, I have one word for you all: Kindle. or Nook. or Sony e-reader. Or for goodness sakes let's just get rid of the books, people! (Ok, just kidding. There was really only one super-book-heavy move, and we have no leg to stand on in that regard.)), helped celebrate a birthday, and watched SO MUCH Doctor Who. Oh! I also completed most of my next Maka prop, but I didn't take pictures, so you'll just have to wait until tomorrow.

Now we start Monday off with going back to work, Eric in NY, and nothing but tinking to look forward to at lunch. Bleh! Stupid having-to-workness! At least there's next Monday to look forward to, right?
