So, here, finally, is a picture of the corset. There are some better pictures of the actual corset on flickr, but this is the best picture of me :)
Here are some pictures of the bustle underskirt that I made for Katie, modelled by the lolita chair.
So, this was a very sewing weekend. On Thursday, a lot of people started sewing a simple bustle overskirt. And it just kept going throughout the weekend! It was fun! And there are a couple of lovely finished skirts, and many lovely skirts in progress that I hope will be finished soon! Of course, next a lot of people will need the underskirts to go with the overskirts, but we'll be working on that, too! (Did I make a skirt? Well, other than finishing Katie's skirt, no. Rather than working on one of the millions of projects I should've been working on, I started drafting a pattern based on one of my favorite blouses. Flighty, much?)
Anyway, Eric is home until Thursday, so everything is good!
