ugh. Has it really been two weeks since I last posted? I am a slacker! Well, really, I've just been very busy with work. I am, apparently, a computer canary, and I have found every pitfall possible for our move to Active Directory. They've even put my personal account in the administrative group to minimize my problems, but even so I've managed to destroy my javascript registry entries today. I can't do much else while that's getting fixed, so you get to hear from me, yay!
Well, this weekend was very busy. And it seems like, for every good thing that happened, something horrible happened. (Garage sale: Yay! Leah getting very sick: Boo! I get the triple crown in the vampire game (and I would like an actual triple crown for that, thank you): Yay! Realizing that I'm responsible for a whole lot of vampire's welfare: Boo! Doctor Who night!: Yay! XBox crashing hard: Boo!) Except for Annie's birthday gathering, which was much more fun than the mere loss of a shirt.
Speaking of the XBox crashing, we're going with the "cheap" (read: not at all cheap, but cheaper than buying a new one) fix for our XBox, so we will be sadly without for an indeterminate amount of time. Can anyone recommend any good Wii games with the same feel as, say, Prince of Persia or BioShock or Dead Rising or Team Fortress? Those are all games Eric really likes on the XBox... We're not looking to buy a stunted version of a game that's better on other systems, and he's already played Twilight Princess and Super Mario Galaxy and Call of Duty. Hm. I don't think he played the Metroid game... Maybe that would be a good start. But if you have any suggestions, I'd love to hear them! He's on call this week, so video games are his only bright spot! :(
Also, it's Fanplusfriend contest time again! Voting starts tomorrow (and don't think I won't be asking you to vote!), but here's a sneak preview of my Lolita from the Future dress!

And now my reinstall has just failed, so I have to reboot my computer. Fun!
