Ah ha! I remembered that there was a huge to-do about the New Madrid fault while I was in school! (I lived in IL.) I thought it was because there was an earthquake, but
NonBovine Ruminations points out that
it was all over a fake prediction.
Other than that, the weekend was filled with girly delights! Pride and Prejudice is so much more fun when you're watching it with a ton of people! It was hilarious! And then Sunday was the Mad Hatter Tea party at Camelot Treasures! There are a lot of bad pictures of cute outfits
starting here on my Flickr account. Annie let me borrow her dress, because she's awesome! There was food & games and it was very fun! And then, on the ride home, there was
a rainbow! Also really creepy weather, but a rainbow, too! It was pretty.
Also, do you remember those lovely silver shoes I bought the other ... um, month or so? Well,
I bought another pair. They're so pretty, and when they go on sale, it's very hard to resist. Some day, I'll even get outfits I can wear with those shoes! ;)
Other than that, I made three kitty tails, a primitive backpack and a belt pouch. All I have to do (in the next three days) is finish up the balaclavas and attach ears. That may be doable!
